Itawamba Community College has been ranked sixth among the nation’s best community colleges by the national polling group, WalletHub. In addition, in the same survey Mississippi’s community college system is the best in the country.

Although its technology-driven system is one-of-a-kind, Itawamba Community College’s Advising Center is more about cultivating and maintaining relationships between faculty advisers and students. “No one else has a system which is technology-driven,” said Mande Miller, director. “With that system, we have the ability to plan from start to finish, a significant component of student success, which results in both the center’s and the College’s ultimate success.”
