Priority is cultivating relationships between faculty advisers and students

Although its technology-driven system is one-of-a-kind, Itawamba Community College’s Advising Center is more about cultivating and maintaining relationships between faculty advisers and students. “No one else has a system which is technology-driven,” said Mande Miller, director. “With that system, we have the ability to plan from start to finish, a significant component of student success, which results in both the center’s and the College’s ultimate success.”

Wilburn selected Alumnus of the Year

Recognition set for Oct. 3 at Homecoming

Jerry Wilburn of Mantachie will be honored as Itawamba Community College’s 2015 Alumnus of the Year, Oct. 3, during homecoming activities at the Fulton Campus.

Special presentations will be made at 1 p.m. in the David C. Cole Student Services building and at 3 p.m. during a pregame ceremony at Eaton Field, prior to the football game with Coahoma Community College.
