Four sophomores selected to represent ICC

Four Itawamba Community College sophomores have been selected as members of the Phi Theta Kappa All-Mississippi Academic Team.

They include Kellie Devan Ballard of Red Bay, Ala., Mary Chandler Izard of Fulton, Karleigh Kimbrell of Pontotoc and Mallory Grace Mahon of Blue Springs.

2015 spring semester

New students can register from Dec. 1-17

Students who are not currently enrolled but who plan to attend Itawamba Community College during the 2015 spring semester can register from Dec. 1-17 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on both the Fulton and Tupelo campuses.

Student Juried Art Competition

On display through Dec. 5

Itawamba Community College’s Student Juried Art Competition is currently on display in the W.O. Benjamin Fine Arts Center Gallery at the Fulton Campus.

The show, which is comprised of 53 works in a variety of media including sculpture, drawing, painting, photography and ceramics, will be up through Dec. 5.

PTK C4 activities

Scheduled for the week of Nov. 17 at Fulton, Tupelo and Belden

Joining a statewide effort to promote degree and credential completion among students at all 15 of Mississippi’s two-year institutions, Itawamba Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa honor society chapters are coordinating Community College Completion Challenge (C4) events the week of Nov. 17. This marks the first time that system-wide, coordinated efforts have been held to promote completion at Mississippi’s community colleges (MSC4).
