Graduation Application Procedures
AA Degree

Follow the CAPP graduation instructions below. After you complete an "Associates of Arts" degree evaluation and you think you will probably meet these requirements at the end of the semester, proceed to step 2.

Go to the Admissions Office and pick up an application for graduation.

After you have filled out the forms, meet with the Registrar (Fulton) or Student Services Director (Tupelo) to determine if you do, indeed, meet the graduation requirements.

Pay the $30 graduation fee (cap, gown, and diploma) at the Business Office. The person who accepts your money will record a receipt number on your application.

Take the application form bearing the receipt number back to the Admissions Office where you will then be measured for your cap and gown.
AAS Degree and Certificate

Follow the CAPP graduation instructions below. After you complete an "Associates of Applied Science" (specific program) degree evaluation and you think you will probably meet these requirements at the end of the semester, proceed to step 2.

Go to the Admissions Office to pick up an application for graduation and a copy of your transcript.

Take the application and the transcript to your technical advisor for review and signature.

Take the application to the Admissions Office; meet with the Registrar (Fulton) or Student Services Director (Tupelo) for a final review of core hours and a determination of your grade point average.

Pay the $30 graduation fee (cap, gown, and diploma) at the Business Office. The person who accepts your money will record a receipt number on your application.

The deadline for completing the application process is MARCH 1st.

No diploma or certificate will be ordered until the Registrar has approved the application.

Any student desiring to be excused from the graduation ceremony must receive permission from the Registrar (Fulton) or Student Services Director (Tupelo). (Part 5 of the application)
CAPP - Curriculum Advising and Program Planning
Please check your status toward fulfilling the requirements for an Associate of Arts Degree or Associate of Applied Science Degree by following the instructions below. Also, you can check your program progress toward fulfilling the suggested requirements for any academic major that is outlined in the ICC College Catalog.
Step Process
- Go to the ICC homepage http://www.iccms.edu
- Click on "GO2ICC" from the Quicklink menu and sign-in.
- Click "School Services"
- Click "School Services & Financial Aid"
- Click "Student Records"
- Click "Degree/Program Evaluation"
- Select the current term and submit
- Select "What-If- Analysis" at bottom of screen
- Select entry term…this is the term you begin as a student at ICC…then click continue
- Select a program to be evaluated…then click continue
- Choose "Associate of Arts" from the drop down list to see if you meet requirements for the Associate of Arts Degree from ICC.
- Choose any AAS specific program from the drop down list to see if you meet requirements for that specific Associate of Applied Science Degree from ICC.
- Choose any AA specific program from the drop down list to view your progress within a specific academic major. The courses within the specified major are advised for students who will be transferring to a university and continuing in the same major.
- Select "First Major"…then click submit
- When "Associate of Arts" is selected as the program (see step 9 above)…the "First Major" will need to be selected. This selection will not effect the evaluation.
- When any specific AAS or AA program is selected (see step 9 above)…select the same program for the "First Major" then click submit.
- Select the current term as the "Evaluation Term" then click submit
- Click "Detail Requirements" then submit
- On this program evaluation page review "met" and "not met" requirements…then plan accordingly
- At the bottom of the program evaluation page click "Back to Display Options"
- Click "Additional Information" and submit
- The "Additional Information" page will show you courses in-progress and courses that were not counted in the evaluation.
- If you would like to do a new evaluation in a different program area click "What-If-Analysis" at the bottom of the page and start the process over using the instructions above.
If after reviewing this information, all requirements for an Associate of Arts or Associate of Applied Science Degree have been met, visit the Admission Office on the Fulton or Tupelo Campuses during the month of February to apply for the degree. If the requirements have not been met, plan your future schedules with a goal for meeting the requirements. Your success is important to us.
