Career Readiness Certificate

The Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) is a WorkKeys assessment-based credential that gives employers and career seekers a uniform, standard, objective  measure of key workplace skills.  The Certificate confirms to employers that an individual possesses the basic workplace skills required for the 21st century jobs.

While the WorkKeys tests and measures skills in several areas, the Career Readiness Certificate focuses on three targeted skills:

  • Applied Mathematics
  • Reading for Information
  • Locating Information

Three levels of certificates standardize skills that indicate the certificate holder is job ready.  These three levels are:

  • Bronze - Indicates the certificate holder possesses core employ-ability skills for approximately 30% of the profiled jobs.
  • Silver - Holder possesses skills for approximately 65% of profiled jobs.
  • Gold - Holder possesses skills for approximately 90% of the profiled jobs.

WorkKeysİ

The WorkKeys Employment System is a comprehensive system for measuring, communicating, and improving the common skills required for success in the workplace.  It allows these skills to be quantitatively assessed in both individual persons and individual jobs.

Therefore, WorkKeys can allow you to correctly identify individuals who have the basic skills required to be successful in a given position or career.

WorkKeys is rapidly becoming the nationwide standard for measuring and communicating basic workplace skills.  WorkKeys is currently in use in all 50 states.
