FINANCIAL AID PAYMENT
Itawamba Community College students receiving grants, scholarships and loans may defer all fees (tuition, books and room/board) up to the total of all official awards until the awards are paid by the Business Office. No financial aid will be officially awarded until the student's application is completed and eligibility is determined and the student has met all admission requirements as determined by the Registrar.Payments Schedule - (2010-2011)
WITHDRAWAL/DROP OUT OF SCHOOL- If you withdraw from school before you complete 60 percent of the school term, you may owe a refund to the school.
Term Withdraw on or after Spring 2010 March 26, 2010 Fall 2010 October 22, 2010 Spring 2011 March 26, 2011 We do not want you to withdraw, but if you must, withdraw after the above date if possible. Withdrawing from school can also affect your future financial aid eligibility.
The Financial Aid Office will collect all financial awards (grants, loans, work-study, institutional scholarships and all other scholarships) and credit all awards to the Business Office account. The Financial Aid Office will authorize the Business Office to pay the appropriate awards.
Loans - will be disbursed to your Business office account according to the following schedule. School charges will be withheld and any remaining funds will be mailed to you. REMINDER: You must be enrolled in at least 6 hours to receive loan funds.

MTAG, MESG and County Tuition Grants - Enrollment will be based on billable hours. School charges will be withheld and any remaining funds will be mailed to you.

Summer 2010
PELL, AC, SEOG, TEACH GRANTS - Student receives the lesser of one semester award (based on enrollment status) or the remaining portion of the award.
STAFFORD LOAN - One semester award (must be enrolled in, and/or have completed at least 6 credit hours before loan funds may be received.
Apply for financial aid or check status online at www.iccms.edu. To apply, click on "current students" and then click on "paying for college."
The Financial Aid office will check the enrollment status of intersession, internet, first term day, and full term students receiving financial aid by June 21, 2010. Enrollment status for the second term day student will be checked by July 19, 2010. Students will only be paid for hours enrolled in or completed as of these dates for all summer terms. Students who do not complete the semester may have their financial aid prorated and may owe the college a balance. Do not withdraw. Student aid will be disbursed as follows:
50% on approximately June 25, 2010
50% on approximately July 23, 2010First time student loan borrowers must wait 30 days before receiving a student loan disbursement. Student loans for disbursed for first time borrowers will be disbursed as follows:
