Rick Collier
Head Baseball Coach

Rick Collier starts his eighth year as head baseball coach. His '09 Indians won the MACJC State Championship by sweeping through the event and scoring 47 runs on 52 hits in just three games. His club finished 43-13, ranked fourth in the nation in the final NJCAA poll of the year. For the second consecutive year, Collier's program has been ranked among the nation's top five at the end of the season. The Indians went 21-3 inside the division to win their sixth north title in the seven years that Collier has been at the helm of the program.

Collier, a former all-American at Itawamba, has a career record of 291-102, which is nearly a .750 winning percentage. Also, his program has won two regional tournaments and one super regional title. Collier is the only baseball coach in school history to have captured two state titles. Other firsts include a 2003 appearance in the JUCO World Series and a school record for wins (46) and consecutive wins (22).

Collier is a graduate of Delta State University, where he earned both the bachelor's and master's degrees in education. A native of Mantachie, he is married to the former Stephanie Stone of Tremont. They are the parents of a five-year old son, Stone.

Alex Williamson
Assistant baseball coach

Former Itawamba Community College MVP Alex Williamson begins his third year at his alma mater as assistant baseball coach.

Williamson, who earned All-Region 23 and All-State honors at ICC, was the hitting and outfielders coach at Belhaven College in Jackson for two years as an assistant to Hall of Fame coach Hill Denson.

Williamson was a two-year letterman at Ole Miss, where he earned the bachelor's degree in park and recreation management. He is married to the former Brittany Scott of Shannon.
