Applying for Indian Delegation / Contact the Sponsors

Thank you for your interest in Indian Delegation and Itawamba Community College. Indian Delegation members are usually some of the most recognized students on campus. One reason for this is because they are constantly making contacts with potential and current students through the many recruiting and public relations activities in which they are involved. Another reason is probably because they are some of the best students that we have on campus. Most members are involved in a variety of campus activities which helps them make friends, feel connected to the college, develop leadership and communication skills, and get the most out of what ICC has to offer.

To apply for Indian Delegation, you must complete an Indian Delegation application, attach your picture and two letters of recommendation and send it to me by April 1. You will then be contacted to set up an interview that will consist of two parts. The first part of the interview will be a typical question-answer session with the second part consisting of the applicant delivering a prepared presentation on a chosen topic. During the interview the applicant will be evaluated on appearance, poise, self confidence, creativity, ability to communicate, organizational skills, willingness to work and devote time, ability to interact with peers, enthusiasm, leadership skills, and school involvement.
