Colt Snell
6’0”, 150 defender from Tupelo, MS…Played high school soccer for Mark Enis at Tupelo High School & Eric Johnson at the Jackson Futbol Club…is undecided on his major at ICC…is the son of Jimmy & Connie Snell

We are really excited to have Colt join our team; I look for him to compete immediately for a starting spot in the back for us next year.  Colt is very poised on the ball and will be someone that will be able to attack from the back as well as defend.  We lost quite a bit to graduation in terms of defense so signing a defender with the experience he has will be very beneficial to next year’s team.

Spencer Long, Andy Hatcher
Spencer will join a talented returning class at midfielder.  Spencer works very hard on the field and with his skills I expect him to be in the mix next year for playing time at midfielder.  Spencer joins a team that set many records for offensive stats last year and we will look to him to continue that success.

Andy marks the 2nd defender signee for ICC for next year’s team.  Andy is a well rounded player that plays extremely hard and is a smart player, I expect that he will be making strides to winning a starting spot sooner rather than later.  Andy will join a defense that last year was ranked 2nd in the state in goals allowed and next year will look to match that success.

Andy Hatcher
5’11”, 135 defender from Columbus, MS…Played high school soccer for Jamie Perkins at New Hope High School…Team Captain 2007-2008…plans to major in Accounting at ICC…is the son of Allen & Ann Hatcher.

Spencer Long
5’11”, 160 midfielder from Columbus, MS…played high school soccer for Jamie Perkins at New Hope High School…team captain 2007-2008…is undecided in his major is the son of Doug Long & Pat Price.

Tres Wortham
Tres will look to fill some big shoes with the graduation of Kriton Vogel at goalkeeper.  Tres is rock solid in the goal and with his skills we look for him to compete for the starting spot immediately.  His size will fool you but the guy can really play the keeper position well, he is currently leading his team to a potential playoff spot in the Alabama high school soccer league.  I look forward to seeing him compete for the starting job next year.

5’11”, 165 goalkeeper from Daphne, AL…played high school soccer for Barclay Kercher at Spanish Fort High School & Jamie Ferguson at Eastern Shore Blast FC…plans to major in physical education at ICC…is the son of Stuart & Ede Wortham

John Howell
John will look to win playing time at midfield for us next season; he transferred from Mississippi College at the Christmas break and was able to go through spring drills with us this season.  John works extremely hard on the training and game field I think he will make an immediate impact for us next year.  John has fit into our team concept very well and I look forward to him continuing to progress next season.

5’11”, 160 defender from Amory, MS…Played high school soccer for Darrow Anderson at Oak Hill Academy & also played for Michael McGeown & Nathan Hall at the Tupelo Futbol Club…transferring from Mississippi College…is the son of Shelby & Gloria Howell.

Caryl Vogel, Grant Howell, Josh Harlow
These 3 guys are coming from a very good high school program and I look for all three of these guys to make our team better.  Vogel will compete for time in the back and with his size and work ethic I expect him to be a very valuable player.  Howell is one the toughest and hardest worker players I have seen in awhile, I think he will continue to get better everyday and expect him to see some time in the midfield next season.  Harlow is an extremely talented player; he will be showcasing his skills this summer at the high school all-star game in Jackson.  I expect him to make an immediate impact at midfield for us; he will join a great signing class and group of returning players at midfield.

Josh Harlow
5’9”, 160 midfielder from Pontotoc, MS…Played high school soccer for Marty Pettit at Pontotoc High School…chosen to play in 2008 high school all-star game…Daily Journal All-Area selection 2007-2008…is undecided on his major…is the son of Eddie & Debbie Harlow.

Caryl Vogel
6’3, 210 defender from Pontotoc, MS…played high school soccer for Marty Pettit at Pontotoc High School…Daily Journal All-Area selection 2007-2008…plans to major in political science at ICC…is the son of Rebecca Vogel.

Grant Howell
6’0”, 175 midfielder from Pontotoc, MS…played high school soccer for Marty Pettit at Pontotoc High School…plans to major in Business at ICC…is the son of Dillard & Lisa Howell.

Parker Davis
Itawamba’s incoming class continues to grow as Parker Davis will look to win at the striker position next year.  With the graduation of the Schumaker and McCord he will have big shoes to fill but I expect him to bring that nose for the goal and work ethic I saw in high school these past years.  Parker has good size and a great shot; these things should put him right in the mix for playing time next year.

6’2”, 170 striker from Starkville, MS…played for Brian Bennett at Starkville High School…Daily Journal All-Area selection 2007-2008…plans to major in physical education at ICC…is the son of Fred and Jean Davis.

Patrick Wallace
Patrick leaves one of the best high school programs in the state to come to us; he will be competing for playing time at midfield next year.  This is another guy we are adding that has great skills and size; he will be showcasing his talents this summer in the high school all-star game in Jackson, MS.  We are looking for Patrick to come in and solidify us at the left midfield position.

6’4”, 185 midfielder from Tupelo, MS…played for Mark Enis at Tupelo High School & Eric Johnson at the Jackson Futbol Club…chosen to play in the 2008 high school all-star game…is undecided on his major at ICC…is the son of Joe & Kelly Wallace.

John Ward Grace
John Ward is a tenacious left footed guy that with his work ethic he will really put pressure on everyone to give their all at training everyday.  I have watched him for a few years now and I believe with his speed and work ethic he will be someone to watch out for in the near future.  John will look for time in the midfield next season.

5’10”, 145 midfielder from New Albany, MS…played high school soccer for Nathan Clayton at New Albany High School…is undecided on his major at ICC…is the son of Walter & Nancy Grace.

Omar Juarez
Itawamba adds another strong signee for next year in Juarez.  Omar has been a big time goal scorer for his high school over the last couple of years and we will look for him to continue that part of his game here for us next season.  Omar has great skills and that nose for the goal; he is also an extremely hard worker on the field.  He will be competing for time at the striker position next year.

5’11”, 180 striker from Amory, MS…played high school soccer for Steve Randall at Amory High School…is undecided on his major at ICC…is the son of Aracely Juarez.

Lewis McDaniel
Itawamba finalizes their signing class with the addition of Lewis who will come to us form Georgia.  Lewis should make an immediate impact for us in the back next year.  Lewis has great skill and vision for the field; he will be a strong possession style defender that will also give you that option to attack from the back.

5’11”, 155 defender from Warner Robins, GA…played high school soccer for Chris McCook at Houston County High School and Ben Ngie of Macon United FC…plans to major in pre-engineering at ICC…is the son of Billy & Heike McDaniel.
