Chad Case is beginning his second season as the head coach of the ICC softball program after leading the Lady Indians to a share of the north division title in his first campaign. Previously, Case served as an assistant coach on Rick Collier's Indians baseball staff from 2002-2006.
 
The Clinton High School grad was a “Dandy Dozen” selection twice by the Clarion Ledger, while playing for the Arrows. Case played one year for head coach Pat McMahon at Mississippi State before transferring to ICC, where he was an all-state outfielder on the 1999 state championship team. He also started his sophomore season in which the Indians finished ranked number one in the nation in the final NJCAA poll. Case continued his .300 plus batting average at the University of West Alabama.
 
He earned the A.A. degree from Itawamba Community College, the B.S. degree in physical education from the University of West Alabama in 2002, and the M.S. degree in physical education from Mississippi State University in 2005. He is married to the former Tiffany Lawrence of Amory.
