These are some very interesting facts that have been proven by several studies during the last few years. Some equally important observations about residence halls are they are a great place to develop friendships, explore new ideas, learn about freedom and responsibility and prepare oneself for life after college.

Itawamba Community College is committed to providing modern housing facilities, which promote academic success and personal growth. This commitment, coupled with a caring staff, will provide an atmosphere conductive to the attainment of one's goals.

*Monroe Hall is a women's residence hall on campus housing 61 women. The size of the building is very conductive to developing lasting friendship and creating a sense of community. The hall has two floors set in a suite style arrangement and was renovated in 2003.

Sheffield Hall is the home to 297 women and the largest female residence hall on campus, The building is located on the south end of campus and features 2 separate building connected by an attractive enclosed walkway. Sheffield Hall offers 4 different living arrangements with private bathrooms located in each room. Most of the accommodations are arranged in 5 person rooms, which share a common area with chairs and table.

Pontotoc Hall is the largest men's residence hall on campus. The hall houses 200 men in large rooms with suite style accommodations. This 3-story facility was renovated in 1999 and is located on the north end of campus.

Lee Hall is a 3-floor facility, which offers large 2 person rooms with a private bathroom. Students who live on the 2nd and 3rd floors also enjoy a room with a balcony. This facility, houses 86 men.

*Monroe Annex is a 2-story residence hall which houses 54 women honor student. This building features large rooms, private bathrooms and is located in the center of campus. Student rooms on the second floor have access to a balcony.

Chickasaw Hall is the newest men's residence hall opened in the fall of 2003 and features 2 person rooms with private baths.  It houses 100 men.

**Itawamba Hall is the newest women's residence hall opening in the fall of 2010.
