Guidelines for Tutoring Sessions
Tips for getting the most out of peer tutoring:
- Come prepared for your tutoring session. Complete required reading and attempt to do assigned homework.
- Bring your questions. Tutors are better able to assist you when you can express to them the areas that you need help.
- Bring all materials that might help you and the tutor---syllabus, notebook, book, homework, returned papers, pen/pencil.
- Be on time.
- In the event you must cancel your tutoring session, please give us at least 24 hours notice so that we may contact the Peer Tutor. Students that do not attend requested tutoring sessions will be banned from using this free service for one calendar month.
- Please tell us how we are doing by completing a student satisfaction survey (sent via your ICC email account). Your opinion is very important to us!
