ICC's 2009-2010 Year Round Pell
Transition Awarding Policy

For the transition year for awarding Pell with cross over terms, Itawamba Financial Aid will award Pell based on 2009-2010 Pell eligibility.
- We will not review 2010-2011 ISIR's once a Pell award has been issued.
- We will not conduct a review of academic year progression for 2009-2010.
- A student who has used 100% of the Pell grant during the fall 2009 and spring 2010 semesters must enroll and start in at least six (6) credit hours to be eligible for the new year round Pell grant for summer 2010 term.
- A student who has used less than 100% of the Pell grant for fall 2009 and spring 2010 semesters may be eligible for regular summer Pell grant for less than six (6) credit hours.
- Students are encouraged to visit the ICC Financial Aid Office if they have any questions or concerns.
- Transfer students- ICC Financial Aid will use the percentage of the Pell grant received at the students' previous college when calculating eligibility for year round summer Pell grant.
- Students who do not enroll in and start in at least six (6) hours for summer may not be eligible for year round Pell grant for summer 2010. Again, students are encouraged to visit the ICC Financial Aid Office for questions or concerns.
