basic education/high school equivalency (ABE/GED) and ESL classes will begin at
several locations throughout the Itawamba Community College five-county
district in early August.
All evening classes including ICC-Belden begin Aug. 5, and full-time Belden
Center classes start Aug. 11.

The classes provide an opportunity for students to prepare for the GED test or
to learn basic skills in reading, math or writing. There is no charge for the
classes. Books and other materials are furnished.
GED testing is only offered through computer-based testing, and those who are
interested must register through www.ged.com. ICC offers computer-based GED
testing on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
