ICC Orientation

Orientation at Itawamba Community College is mandatory for all new students.  All new graduating high school seniors, adult learners and transfer students must either attend an on-campus orientation session or complete an online orientation.  Students attending the on-campus sessions should sign up for an orientation session at the campus where they plan to take the majority of their classes.  Online registration for the June and July on-campus sessions will begin May 1.

The dates for June and July on-campus orientation are:

Fulton Campus                   Tupelo Campus

June 12   June 15
June 13   July 12
June 14   July 13
July 10
July 11

Each on-campus orientation date will include both morning and afternoon sessions from which students can choose.  There will also be a separate Parent Orientation session designed to cover topics of special interest to parents.  Check-in for students selecting the morning session will begin at 7 a.m., and all students must arrive before 8 a.m. to participate in that session.  Check-in for students attending the afternoon session will begin at 12:30 p.m., and all students must arrive before 1:30 p.m.  Sessions will begin promptly at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  Those who arrive late will not be allowed to participate, and they must sign up for another session.

ICC will also host adult learner on-campus orientation sessions each July and December.  For more information about these sessions, email Larry Boggs at laboggs@iccms.edu.

After the June on-campus orientation sessions have been completed, new adult learner and transfer students will be allowed to early-register once they have completed an Online Orientation session.  These sessions will be available anytime by clicking the Online Orientation link.  Once the July on-campus orientation sessions have been completed, all new students must complete an Online Orientation session before registering for classes.

Completion of an Online Orientation session will also be required for all new students beginning ARROW term classes and those beginning enrollment in the Spring semester.
