Accuplacer and ACT

American College Test (ACT) scores or the ACCUPLACER assessment are used to place students at their demonstrated level of academic achievement.

ACCUPLACER

ACCUPLACER is a computer-based assessment administered at no charge to students. Placement testing is used to determine the strengths and needs of students in English, mathematics and reading. Placement scores assist with selection of the most appropriate program and course options. Courses requiring placement scores are biology, English, mathematics and physical science.
