ALPHA DELTA NU

The mission of Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society is to recognize the academic excellence of students in Associate Degree Nursing. The society encourages the pursuit of advanced degrees in the profession of nursing as well as continuing education as a lifelong professional responsibility. LEGAL EDUCATION ASSOCIATION

The Legal Education Association is an organization that is devoted to supporting the success of ICC students currently enrolled in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Technology, Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Technology. lea@iccms.edu

MISSISSIPPI ORGANIZATION FOR ASSOCIATE DEGREE NURSING STUDENTS (MOSA)

The mission of the organization is to promote the image of Associate Degree Nursing at local, state and national levels; to promote Associate Degree Nursing as the entry into nursing practice and to maintain both the Registered Nurse title and the current scope of practice. mosa@iccms.edu

PEAK CLUB

The PEAK Club is an organization for students interested in Exercise Psychology, Science; Physical Education/Coaching; Athletic Training; Neuromechanics; Health, Physical Education and Recreation and related fields that fall under the umbrella of Kinesiology. Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society for the two-year college. Its hallmarks are leadership, scholarship, fellowship and service. Members are afforded opportunities for personal and professional growth and to provide service to the community and society at-large. Sigma Kappa Delta is the English Honor Society for two-year colleges. Members have the opportunity to share their love of literature and linguistics with like-minded peers, participate in rewarding activities and be recognized for their accomplishments. STEM CLUB

The STEM Club, which is available at all three ICC locations (Fulton, Tupelo and Belden) connects students with an interest in STEM-related fields. STUDENT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSOCIATION

Members of this organization include Occupational Therapy Assistant students. SOTA is affiliated with the American Occupational Therapy Association. THE BUSINESS COUNCIL

The Council provides the opportunity for students to obtain a deeper immersion into the local business and industry sector and a chance for real-world experiences through on campus/location events, job fairs and transfer opportunities. Students in The Business Council will organize and host events, communicate directly with local business and university representatives and assist with day-to-day planning and organization of the School of Business activities. It accepts applications from School of Business students who desire a deeper immersion into business and industries and more real-world experiences with different area businesses. council@iccms.edu

ARCHERY CLUB

The Archery Club is a non-NJCAA sanctioned program which provides a unique co-ed extracurricular open to all students in good academic standing. archery@iccms.edu

BASS CLUB

The Itawamba Community College Bass Club presents the sport of bass fishing in a positive manner, provides opportunities for students to engage in competitive bass fishing on a collegiate level as well as promote bass fishing and cooperation with other student organizations. Membership is open to all full-time students at both the Fulton and Tupelo campuses or Belden Center in good standing, regardless of fishing ability. bassclub@iccms.edu

CHIEFTAIN (NEWSPAPER)

The Chieftain is ICC’s newspaper, which is issued online three times each semester. Student staff members write one story for each issue. No experience is necessary. One-hour nontransferable credit is awarded for successful completion. chieftain@iccms.edu

DISC GOLF CLUB

The ICC Disc Golf Club will provide ICC students with a co-ed extracurricular outlet focused on physical activity, fellowship and disc golf. The club will utilize the18-hole disc golf course conveniently located throughout the Fulton Campus. Membership is open to all full-time students in good standing regardless of ability at both the Fulton and Tupelo campuses and Belden Center. discgolf@iccms.edu

ESPORTS CLUB

Esports provides students who are interested in gaming competitively an opportunity to compete at a collegiate level. Esports is open to all ICC students in good standing with the College and a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Esports meets on Mondays and Wednesdays in Academic 121 on the Fulton Campus from 4-6 p.m. esports@iccms.edu

FASHION TRIBE

Fashion Tribe provides opportunities for ICC’s students to pursue fashion on multiple levels, including but not limited to, modeling, production, design, lighting, backstage management, photography, music, hair styling and makeup artistry. Fashion Tribe also partners with College and community entities to provide fashion-based activities and services. Members can serve as volunteer pageant judges in the local area as requested. INDIAN DELEGATION

The Indian Delegation is a student recruiting team organized to serve as goodwill ambassadors for Itawamba Community College. Members are involved in activities directly related to recruiting and public relations, conducting tours, participating in community outreach projects, assisting with special meetings and events at all college locations and many other recruiting and public relations activities. MIRROR (YEARBOOK)

The College yearbook presents a cross-section of student life. Staff members must have yearbook experience. One hour of nontransferable credit is awarded for successful completion of a minimum of six pages. mirror@iccms.edu

ORIENTATION LEADERS

The ICC Orientation Leader is an important part of the retention and registration efforts of the College. Orientation Leaders are selected each fall through an interview process. Orientation Leaders are required to attend weekly class sessions during the spring semester and participate in Orientation sessions during the spring and summer. orientation@iccms.edu

STUDENT ACTIVITIES BOARD

The Student Activities Board provides opportunities for ICC students to plan, develop and implement college activities at all locations as well as assist the Student Activities office and collaborate on Student Government Association-sponsored events. SAB@iccms.edu

STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION

The SGA, which is comprised of elected representatives, plans social activities, encourages student discussion of college concerns, presents recommendations to the faculty and administration and acts in an advisory capacity to the students of each location. FINE ARTS PERFORMING

ALL-AMERICAN MARCHING BAND

The Itawamba Community College All-American Band is a service organization representing the College in various public appearances during the year. The band is open to all students with skills in the areas of instrumental music, dance and guard. CENTERSTAGE

CenterStage is ICC’s pop show group featuring vocals, choreography and a live band. This group represents ICC at numerous public functions and serves as a major recruiting tool for area high schools. Members of CenterStage are talented vocalists and instrumentalists who are chosen through an audition process in the spring. Potential crew members are also interviewed and recruited in the areas of sound, lighting, costuming and more. CHOIR AND CHAMBER SINGERS

The Itawamba Community College Choral Division of the Music Department consists of two ensembles – the ICC Choir and the Chamber Choir. The ICC Choir is composed of students from many different majors who like to sing, want to learn more about music and who are willing to work with a great group of students to represent ICC. To be a member of the choir, individuals must be able to sing on pitch and blend with other singers. The Chamber Choir is composed of students who are able to sing more difficult music and are willing to work to perform it at a very high level. COLOR GUARD

Members of the ICC Color Guard perform with the ICC All-American Band during football season and parades. Students who are selected for the Color Guard must register for both color guard and marching band classes. Students receive a scholarship and credit hours for participation. Auditions for the group, which are held every April, are open to all students. Individuals do not have to play an instrument to be part of the ICC Color Guard. CONCERT ENSEMBLES

Members of the Itawamba Community College All-American Band are placed into one of three performing concert ensembles, which include the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band and Concert Band. Each plays varying degrees of music by both standard and modern composers. Membership is based on audition, and scholarships are available. band@iccms.edu

FILM CLUB

The purpose of ICC Films is to teach ICC students the basic skills of filmmaking, including scriptwriting, directing, acting, editing, makeup artistry, etc. In addition, the organization’s purpose is to provide students with opportunities to acquire hands-on experience in filmmaking. filmclub@iccms.edu

INDIANETTES

The Indianettes, the dance team that performs with the ICC All-American Marching Band during football games and parades, auditions each April. Those who are selected for the line must register for both dance and marching band classes. Members receive a scholarship and credit hours for participation. JAZZ ENSEMBLE

The ICC Jazz Band is an ensemble that is traditionally staffed in the style of the Big Bands. The group typically has five saxes, four trombones, four trumpets, rhythm section and vocalists. The primary focus of the band is swing music from the Big Band era, but other genres are also included in its performance. Membership in the group is through audition, but musician students of any major are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in a jazz band is not required. The group rehearses on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:50 a.m.-12:05 p.m. (L period) and performs multiple times each semester both on- and off-campus. jazz@iccms.edu

POM SQUAD

The ICC Pom Squad is an elite dance team that performs at home basketball games. Students audition for Pom Squad in late October or early November and perform at basketball games from November through March. Scholarships are available for memberships. STEEL DRUM BAND

This small ensemble is open to all ICC students regardless of musical background or experience. Students learn independence on their instruments by rotating to different instruments or by receiving more specialized instruction due to the nature of small group ensembles. Students learn ethnomusicology, techniques and musical characteristics of playing all the different instruments of the traditional steel pan ensemble through a wide array of musical genres while performing at the college and in the community. band@iccms.edu

THEATRE PRODUCTIONS

Theatre Productions involves student participation in the dinner theatre each year. theatre@iccms.edu

WOODWIND ENSEMBLES (MIXED WOODWINDS AND SAXOPHONE QUARTET)

Open to all woodwind students, the woodwind small ensemble groups help build musicianship through experiential learning, teamwork and social and emotional well-being. Students become more independent as musicians by receiving more specialized instructions due to the nature of the small ensemble. These small ensembles explore a wide variety of musical genres while performing on campus/location and in the community. woodwinds@iccms.edu

The Itawamba Community College chapter of the Nurses Christian Fellowship unites student nurses in Christian fellowship. NCF meets monthly during activity period. NCF@iccms.edu
