Online Student Orientation
All online students at ICC must complete the eLearning Orientation for each online class in which they are enrolled. This module is located in every online course, and students must complete the requirements before accessing course content. The orientation module requires students to review important policies, procedures and resources to ensure success in online coursework. There is a quiz near the end of the orientation to check your understanding and unlock remaining course content.

Instructional Support
Instructional Support at Itawamba Community College seeks to meet the diverse academic needs of students through a variety of programs. Supplemental Instruction (SI) is the College’s primary method of instructional support. SI Leaders are ICC students who are eager and ready to help you understand course content.
NetTutor
NetTutor is located within every online course at ICC, and it offers live tutoring on-demand, question drop-off and writing feedback. To access the free service, simply navigate to NetTutor from your course navigation menu in Canvas.
Technical Support
ICC’s Telecommunications and Information Services (TIS) department provides internal support for a range of technological issues, ranging from institutional email account access to basic device assistance. A few popular resources are linked below for quick access.

Microsoft Office 365
All students and faculty/staff can download and install Microsoft Office 365 on up to five personal devices. Students will have Office 365 for FREE as long as they are enrolled at ICC (a value of $144 per year).

Proctored Testing
Online classes at ICC require students to complete at least one major assignment in a proctored environment, which helps to ensure the integrity of our programs and provide an opportunity for summative assessment at the course level. Online students must complete their proctored testing requirements via onsite proctoring at an approved testing location.
