Career Pathways - Certified Nursing Assistant

The program prepares participants to take the exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Upon successful completion of the program and the examination, nursing assistants can find employment with nursing homes, medical centers, home healthcare providers and clinics. Becoming a CNA provides an excellent foundation for those who want to advance in the nursing profession.

Upon completion of both courses, students will take the nationally-recognized Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam.

Time Commitment: Approximately 96 hours. Evening classes, but occasionally day classes are offered. Clinicals must be completed at a nursing home

Enrollment Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age; have high school diploma or equivalent; ACT® score of 16 or WorkKeys® - Gold; complete immunization shots, including a Two-Step TB Skin Test and a background check.

Fees: Required Board License Examination fee; $875
