PROGRAM OVERVIEW
THE PROGRAM
Diesel Equipment Technology is an instructional program that prepares students with competencies required to maintain and repair a variety of industrial diesel equipment, including agricultural tractors, commercial trucks and construction equipment, including agricultural tractors, commercial trucks and construction equipment. The program incudes instruction in inspection, repair and maintenance of engines, power trains, hydraulic systems and other components. Upon completion of the two-year curriculum, the student is awarded an Associate of Applied Science degree in Diesel Technology. Successful completion of 30 hours in the selected discipline entitles the individual to receive a Career Certificate.
