1. Go to https://myTribe.iccms.edu.
2. Select "Activate my Account."
3. Enter your ICC Identification number (begins with 933######, your Social Security Number with no dashes and your date of birth. If you have an ICC ID card, you will find the last six digits of your ICC Identification number. Just put 933 in front of those six digits.
4. Select "Sign in button."
5. Verify the information and then create and enter a password for your account. Then select "Activate."
6. After a few seconds, an Activation message will appear that will give you your Username and Email address.

To connect your personal laptop or mobile device, connect to the ICC Wireless network named “Arrow," and you will be prompted to enter your ICC username and password to register your device. Note: Some computers and some Android-based phones will require opening a Web browser and go to http://www.iccms.edu for the registration prompt.

How to connect your Gaming Console, SmartTV or device without a Web browser to the ICC Wireless Network.

1. You will need to connect and register your smartphone or computer to the ICC Wireless Network (Arrow).
2. Then go to: www.iccms.edu/devices or scan the QR code and log in with your ICC username and password.
3. Enter your device’s MAC address in the following format: XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
4. Then click Register.

Note: If you are unable to register your MAC address on the ICC network and receive an "error message,"  call the Help Desk at 662.862.8295 with your MAC address handy.

Residence Hall Students: It has been brought to our attention that some students have been having issues with the WiFi service in the residence halls. Upon further review, we have examined reports of some devices and services that are hindering WiFi.

To ensure the best WiFi Service:

• Ensure that wireless printers are turned off when not in use.
• Nintendo or any gaming stations broadcasts must be turned off.
• Do not use any wireless routers that have been brought from home because they will compete with ICC's wireless system offered to all students at ICC. Example: Belkin/Netgear
• Do not use wireless devices from any local telephone company. Example: Nexband
• Do not use your cell phones as a wireless access point.

Ensuring that you have fixed the above issues will improve your WiFi experience at ICC. Questions may be directed to 662.862.8295.

In order to optimize performance of ICC's wireless network in the residence halls, the TIS department has requested that all students turn off all personal printers that are wireless when not in use. Wireless printers create an access point which causes wireless interference and other issues. If the printers are turned on only when they are needed and then turned off when work is completed, the wireless printers will minimize interference in the residence halls.
