General 3 Itawamba Community College has selected leaders for the 2019 summer orientation sessions, which begin in April. They include Laura Buskirk of Amory; Addie Bridges of Belden; Elizabeth Ingram of Corinth; Hannah Scott of Ecru; Cailee Yielding of Fulton; Peyton Blair of Greenwood Springs; Brandon Adair, Mattie Pettigo, both of Guntown; Matthew Burrows, Lexie Dickinson, both of Mantachie; Jake Nelson of Okolona; Madison Haley of Olive Branch; Morgan Norris of Philadelphia; Samantha Nanney of Pontotoc; Lauren Heath of Randolph; Emily Shaffer of Saltillo; Makaela Dickerson, Olivia Sagely, both of Smithville; and Amber Jones, Destiny Vaughn, Josh Vaughn, all of Tupelo. Spring, summer orientation registration to begin Feb. 3 Online registration for all spring and summer orientation sessions at Itawamba Community College will begin Feb. 3. All sessions are free. Incoming freshmen with ACT scores of 24 and above are invited to participate in the Apr. 13 honors session, which begins with registration at 1 p.m. in the Band Hall at the Fulton Campus. The schedule includes welcome, both parent and student orientations, student advising and ID and shirt pickup. Additional sessions for all students include Fulton Campus – Apr. 24, May 15, June 12 and July 14, all at 8:30 a.m. and June 9 at 1 p.m. and Tupelo Campus – Apr. 17 at 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.; May 1, June 16 and July 10, all at 8:30 a.m. and June 18 and July 16 at 5 p.m. Students can attend an orientation session regardless of the location where they will take classes during the fall semester. “Among the advantages of attending an orientation session as soon as possible are scheduling summer and fall classes ...
