• Registration continues for ICC summer orientation sessions

  Registration is continuing at Itawamba Community College for orientation sessions for students who plan to enroll for the 2023 fall semester.             Recent high school graduates are required to participate in one of the sessions, which are scheduled for June 13 and 15 and July 11 and 13, all at 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., all at the Fulton Campus; and June 14 at 1 p.m. and July 12 at 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., all at the Tupelo Campus. Students can attend a session regardless of the location they plan to attend. However, all students, including adult learners are invited.             “Among the advantages of attending an orientation session are scheduling classes early and choosing from a wide variety of options, including days, times and instructors,” said Michael Holloway, director of recruitment and orientation. “Participants will have an opportunity to connect with other new students as well as to learn more about student life at ICC. • ICC schedules registration opportunity, orientation sessions beginning in November

  Adult learners, transfer students and those who are being readmitted can register for the 2023 spring semester at Itawamba Community College beginning Nov. 16. December 22 high school graduates will have an opportunity to register during special orientation sessions, Nov. 17 and Dec. 8, at 1 p.m., at the Tupelo Campus.             “Orientation for December graduates is a valuable first step toward a successful college career, and ICC offers it at no cost to provide the best start for our students,” said Michael Holloway, director of recruitment and orientation. It is an opportunity for students to learn about ICC, schedule their classes, take their ID photo and begin to prepare for the college transition. • Orientation online registration begins May 1

  Online registration will begin May 1 for summer freshman orientation sessions at Itawamba Community College.             Both morning (8-11:45 a.m.) and afternoon (1-4:45 p.m.) sessions are scheduled for June 12, 13, 14 and July 10 at the David C. Cole Student Services Building at the Fulton Campus and June 16 and July 13 at the Health Science Education Center at the Tupelo Campus. Morning-only sessions will be July 11 at the Fulton Campus and July 14 at the Tupelo Campus.             The schedule includes small group sessions, campus tours, computer training and registration. ID and yearbook photos will also be made.             A special parent/guest orientation will cover topics of special interest to enable them to assist their students in the transition to ICC.             Students must have submitted an application for admission as well as a copy of the ACT score before registering for orientation. • April freshman orientation online registration begins

             Online registration has begun for April freshman orientation sessions at Itawamba Community College.             Incoming freshmen with ACT scores of 24 and above are invited to participate in the Apr. 17 honors session, which begins with registration at 12:30 p.m. in the Band Hall at the Fulton Campus.
