• Online registration begins for June, July freshman orientation sessions

              Online registration has begun for summer freshman orientation sessions at Itawamba Community College.             Sessions include June 14, 8 a.m., Fulton; June 17, 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Fulton; June 18, 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Tupelo; July 16, 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Fulton; and July 19, 8 a.m., Fulton. Locations are the Band Hall at the Fulton Campus and the Health Science Education Center at the Tupelo Campus.             The schedule includes both parent/guardian and student orientation sessions, student advising and class scheduling as well as I.D./yearbook photos. The special parent/guardian orientation will cover topics of special interest to enable them to assist their students in the transition to ICC. • Registration continues for ICC July orientation sessions

  It is not too late to register for July orientation sessions that are scheduled for both the Fulton and Tupelo campuses of Itawamba Community College.           They include July 19 at 1 p.m. and July 21 at 8:30 a.m. at the Fulton Campus and July 21 at 5 p.m. at the Tupelo Campus.           Recent high school graduates are required to participate in one of the sessions; however, they can attend regardless of the location where they plan to enroll in classes. All students, including adult learners, are invited.           Among the advantages of attending an orientation session are scheduling classes early and choosing from a wide variety of options, including days, times and instructors. Participants will have an opportunity to connect with other new students as well as to learn more about student life at ICC. • ICC sets orientation sessions for students who plan to enroll for spring 2022

              Itawamba Community College has scheduled orientation sessions for students who plan to enroll for the 2022 spring semester.             High school students who graduate in December are highly encouraged to participate in one of the sessions, which are scheduled for Nov. 18 and Jan. 5, at 1 p.m. each day at the Tupelo Campus at iccms.edu/orientation. Students can attend a session regardless of the location they plan to attend in the spring.               Online registration continues for the July freshman orientation sessions at Itawamba Community College.             Both morning (8-11:45 a.m.) and afternoon (1-4:45 p.m.) sessions are scheduled for July 9 at the David C. Cole Student Services Building at the Fulton Campus and July 12 at the Health Science Education Center at the Tupelo Campus.  Morning only sessions will be July 10 at the Fulton Campus and July 13 at the Tupelo Campus. Students may check in from 8-8:45 a.m. for the morning session and from 1-1:45 p.m. for the afternoon session.             The schedule includes small group sessions, campus tours, computer training and registration.              Online registration is continuing for upcoming freshman orientation sessions at Itawamba Community College.             The available sessions, which are free and will be conducted exclusively online, include May 1; June 16 and 18; and July 10, 14 and 16.             “Students are encouraged to participate in a freshman orientation session as soon as possible to ensure that they can select from a wide variety of options, including days, times and instructors,” said Dr. Melissa Haab, dean of enrollment services. • ICC schedules adult education orientation/enrollment sessions for July 10

  Itawamba Community College will enroll new adult education students at the Belden Center during two orientation sessions on July 10. The first, which is at 9 a.m., will be for individuals who are 16- or 17-years old; and the second, at 1 p.m., will include those who are 18 and older. Participants must have a photo ID, and 16-/17-year-olds should be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring a withdrawal form from the most recent school attended.             Entry into the adult education area is across from the WIN Job Center at ICC-Belden.             Day and evening classes are offered at ICC-Belden as well as in Chickasaw, Itawamba, Lee, Monroe and Pontotoc counties.             There is no cost for the classes.             The ESL program, Belden Center evening courses and all WIN Job Centers offer open, continuous enrollment.             GED and HiSET testing is continuing on a weekly basis, and all program-enrolled students take the GED or HiSET free of charge.
