Apr. 1 deadline to apply for Foundation scholarships Apr. 1 is the deadline for submission of online applications for scholarships offered by the Itawamba Community College Foundation, Inc. A list of scholarships with complete descriptions and an online application are available on ICC’s website, www.iccms.edu, then click the Financial Aid tab and Scholarships at ICC under the Financial Aid links. Foundation scholarships are established and privately funded for ICC students by individuals, businesses, industries and organizations. Apri 1 is deadline to apply for ICC Indian Delegation April 1 is the deadline for applications for Itawamba Community College’s Indian Delegation. The student recruiting team members serve as goodwill ambassadors for ICC. Members are involved in activities directly related to recruiting and public relations, including but not limited to, ICC tours, visiting area high schools, community outreach, college days/nights and special meetings and events. In addition to other requirements, Indian Delegation members must maintain a minimum of 15 hours per semester and a 2.5 or better grade point average. Members are eligible for a $350 scholarship per semester (maximum of four semesters), one hour of class credit each semester based on participation, involvement, class attendance and exam and special training and experiences in personal development, interpersonal communication and community college recruiting and public relations activities. Application deadline approaches for ICC health science programs Itawamba Community College’s School of Health Science programs are designed to prepare individuals for employment in the healthcare field, and the application deadline for fall 2025 is rapidly approaching for 10 of the 11 programs. Students interested in ICC’s Associate Degree Nursing, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Health Information Technology, Occupational Therapy Assistant Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant Technology, Practical Nursing, Public Health Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Care Technology and Surgical Technology must submit their online application and meet the requirements by May 1. According to Tonya Vaughn, Dean of Health Science Instruction, the only exception is Emergency Medical Sciences, which has an application deadline of Aug. 1 for the fall class. “Those who complete ICC’s health science programs earn either a certificate of completion or an Associate of Applied Science degree at the conclusion of their programs,” Vaughn said. “With our sophomores in all programs nearing the end of their study and preparation to enter the workforce, it is both a sad and happy time. We are excited for them as they take their place ...
