Career Center, General 0 Itawamba Community College has been recognized as the best online community college in Mississippi and among the top 10 in the nation by BestColleges.com, a leading online resource for college planning and advice. “It is a tremendous honor for Itawamba Community College to be selected the best in the state and among the best in the nation by BestColleges.com,” said ICC President Dr. Jay Allen. “Exceptional recognitions such as this are indications of the success of the College, its continuing status as a premier community college and a testament to our exceptional faculty and staff, without whom it would not be possible. The metrics were taken directly from its College Choice and Admission survey, reflecting the top preferences and priorities of students from across the country. In the 2023 College Choice and Admissions Survey, current college students shared what mattered most when selecting a school or program. To rank colleges, BestColleges.com considered the top factors they identified, including affordability, student outcomes, flexibility and accessibility, reputation, ease of admissions and student diversity. Paralegal program selected among nation's best Itawamba Community College’s Paralegal Technology program has been selected as one of the top online Paralegal degree programs in the nation by TheBestSchools.org. It achieved a ninth-place ranking among the top 25 Best Online Paralegal Associate Programs. ICC offers two degrees in paralegal studies: an online Associate of Applied Science degree in paralegal technology and an Associate of Arts degree in general studies with a paralegal studies emphasis.
