Connect2ICC at ICC-Tupelo, Jan. 6

Connect2ICC will provide an opportunity for students to register for the spring semester at Itawamba Community College from 8:30-11:30 a.m., Jan. 6, in the Student Support Center at the Tupelo Campus.

            The session is designed for current and returning students, high school equivalency graduates, adult learners and transfer students.

            Academic advising, online orientation, scholarships and financial aid representatives will be available to provide assistance as well as a career coach, who can evaluate transcripts for those individuals who are eligible to participate in the Complete2Compete program, a statewide initiative to enable individuals who lack only a few credit hours to earn their degrees.

            Individuals who are 23 or older and not enrolled in college for the previous two years can also apply for the Adult Learner Incentive Scholarship, which provides half-tuition for one semester. Criteria for selection include Mississippi resident, enrollment in a minimum of six semester hours, meeting admission requirements and in good standing with ICC. The scholarship cannot be combined with other ICC institutional scholarships.

            Traditional day classes begin Jan. 8, and eLearning classes, Jan. 16.

            ICC offers academic, career and technical, eLearning (online) and workforce training classes. Locations include the Fulton Campus, Tupelo Campus and the Belden Center.
