• ICC Dinner Theatre to present “Murder on the Orient Express” March 24 and 26

  Itawamba Community College’s Dinner Theatre will present the classic mystery Murder on the Orient Express on March 24 and March 26 at the ICC Connection Center on the Fulton Campus. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner beginning at 6 p.m. The theatrical performance will follow the meal. Based on the famous Agatha Christie story, Murder on the Orient Express follows world-renowned detective Hercule Poirot as he investigates a murder aboard a luxurious train stranded in the snow. If you love suspense, glamour and a good plot twist, this is the event for you. The question isn’t who did it — it’s who didn’t? The production features ICC drama students in both cast and crew roles. Crew members include Emily W. • Itawamba Community College receives $100,000 and joins 41 other schools across the US as All Within My Hands' Metallica Scholars Initiative expands in year five

    Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands, continues its multimillion-dollar investment in critical workforce programs at community colleges nationwide. Among the schools, Itawamba Community College was selected from a competitive pool of applicants to receive $100,000 to transform the futures of students in the community. “It is a tremendous honor for Itawamba Community College to be selected as one of the recipients of the prestigious All Within My Hands grant, which will significantly impact our career education programs, providing funding for students to pursue a pathway and their best start,” said ICC President Dr. Jay Allen. “It is another indication of the success of the College and reinforcement of the mission that students and their success are our top priority.” The Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI) was launched in 2019 by Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands (AWMH), in partnership with the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). • Woody’s featured at ICC’s March Dinner & Demo on March 26

  Itawamba Community College will host its next Dinner & Demo on March 26 at 5:30 p.m., featuring Woody’s as the highlighted restaurant for the month. The limited-seat culinary experience invites guests to enjoy an intimate evening of cooking demonstrations by the residence chef while also dining on a specially curated menu from the featured restaurant. Designed as a monthly food experience, Dinner & Demo offers a unique opportunity to see preparation techniques up close while savoring a full meal in a relaxed, engaging atmosphere. The March 26 menu will showcase wild game selections, including duck and bison, offering guests a bold and distinctive dining experience. Additionally, chef demonstrations will include the Bananas Foster which is a well-known Woody's specialty.  Cost for the event is $75 per person or $140 for a couple. Seating is limited.
