• 2018 Board of Trustees officers

  Mac Allen Thomas of Aberdeen has been elected chairman of the Itawamba Community College Board of Trustees for 2018. Other officers include Danny Robbins of Pontotoc, first vice chairman; Carl Comer of Fulton, second vice chairman; Barry Dendy of Woodland, secretary; and William Shack of Tupelo, immediate past chairman. • Scaggs joins ICC Board of Trustees

              William Nickles “Skip” Scaggs of Amory has been appointed to the Itawamba Community College Board of Trustees.             Currently the executive director of the North Mississippi Industrial Development Association, Scaggs has been previously employed with the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce and the Mississippi Development Authority.             His educational background includes Meridian Community College, Stetson University and Jackson State University.             Scaggs’ civic and church activities include chair of the North Mississippi Medical Center Amory-Gilmore Board of Advisors, chair of the Mississippi District Export Council, member of the executive committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi, member of the board of directors of the Mississippi Auto Manufacturing Association and vestry member of St. John’s in Aberdeen.             He and his wife, the former Brenda Thornhill, are the parents of Zachary, 16; and Carter, 13.             Scaggs fills the unexpired term of long-time Board of Trustees member Thomas Griffith of Amory.

  Steve Eaton of Houston has been elected chairman of the Itawamba Community College Board of Trustees for 2021.             Other officers include Gill Simmons of Tupelo, first vice chairman; Marilyn Sumerford of Smithville, second vice chairman; Steve Coleman of Pontotoc, secretary; and Stacy Russell of Fulton, immediate past chairman.             Also serving on ICC’s Board of Trustees are Amy Anderson, Dr. Jerome Smith, both of Okolona; Ollie Young of Houston; John Ellison of Woodland; Ronnie Gholston, Don Loden, both of Fulton; Mark Tigner of Mantachie; D.
