General 2 Area high school juniors and their parents are invited to participate in a special event at the Itawamba Community College Fulton Campus, Sept. 19. Junior Preview Day, which will begin with registration at the Davis Event Center at 3 p.m., is designed for current high school juniors and their parents or guardians to receive valuable information to assist in the decision-making process of after high school choices. Highlights of the event will include meetings with areas of interest, tour of the campus and residence halls, free dinner and the ICC vs. Coahoma football game. Areas to be showcased are financial aid, scholarships, admissions, Honors College, academic programs, health professions, career education programs and housing. ICC sets Spring Preview Day, Mar. 22, for high school juniors High school juniors will have an opportunity to learn about student life at Itawamba Community College during Spring Preview Day, Mar. 22, from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Davis Event Center on the Fulton Campus. The schedule includes arrival and check-in, 8:15-8:50 a.m.; welcome, 9 a.m.; preview expo and campus tours, 9:15 a.m.; and optional lunch at the dining hall ($7 per person meal ticket), noon. Spring Preview Day ‘24 will include information about ICC’s schools of, including academic, health science and career education programs, and participants can interact directly with faculty within the areas. The preview expo will enable prospective students to visit with programs, offices, departments and student organizations, now known as The Student Experience, to learn more about academic and student involvement opportunities. ICC schedules Sept. 26 Fall Preview Day for area high school seniors High school seniors will have an opportunity to learn about Itawamba Community College during its Fall Preview Day, which is scheduled for September 26 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. at the W.O. Benjamin Fine Arts Center at the Fulton Campus. Fall Preview Day attendees will also have free admission for the ICC/Mississippi Delta football game at Eaton Field, beginning with a tailgate at 5 p.m. They can select from up to two information sessions about ICC’s schools of academics, career education and health science, and participants will hear directly from faculty within the areas. They can choose which schools to attend based on a selected major through the registration link. Attendees will also receive information on involvement at ICC, financial aid/scholarships, housing and residence life, Phi Theta Kappa and honors. There will also be a question-and-answer session. Student recruiters will lead the campus and residence hall tours during this event.
