• Itawamba Community College receives $100,000 and joins 41 other schools across the US as All Within My Hands' Metallica Scholars Initiative expands in year five

    Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands, continues its multimillion-dollar investment in critical workforce programs at community colleges nationwide. Among the schools, Itawamba Community College was selected from a competitive pool of applicants to receive $100,000 to transform the futures of students in the community. “It is a tremendous honor for Itawamba Community College to be selected as one of the recipients of the prestigious All Within My Hands grant, which will significantly impact our career education programs, providing funding for students to pursue a pathway and their best start,” said ICC President Dr. Jay Allen. “It is another indication of the success of the College and reinforcement of the mission that students and their success are our top priority.” The Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI) was launched in 2019 by Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands (AWMH), in partnership with the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). • 2018 summer open registration

  Open registration for the first and full summer terms as well as eLearning classes at Itawamba Community College is scheduled for May 25 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on both the Fulton and Tupelo campuses. Locations are the Registrar’s/Admissions office on the Fulton Campus and the Student Services Building on the Tupelo Campus. The deadlines for late registration include May 31, first term and both traditional and eLearning full-term classes. Classes including first-term day, traditional full-term evening and online full-term and first four-week begin on May 29.   Itawamba Community College has scheduled orientation sessions for students who plan to enroll for the 2022 summer and fall semesters.             Recent high school graduates are required to participate in one of the sessions, which are scheduled for Apr. 11 (Honors), June 7, June 8, June 9, July 19 at 1 p.m.; Apr. 22 and 29, May 6 and July 21, all at 8:30 a.m., at the Fulton Campus; and Apr. 13, June 21 at 1 p.m. and June 23 and July 21 at 5 p.m. at the Tupelo Campus. Students can attend a session regardless of the location they plan to attend.               Open registration at Itawamba Community College has been scheduled for the 2020 spring semester.             Dates and times include Jan. 6 and 7 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on the Fulton Campus, Jan. 6 from 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m. and Jan. 7 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on the Tupelo Campus. Locations are the David C. Cole Student Services Building at the Fulton Campus and the Student Support Center at the Tupelo Campus.             It is possible to register for spring semester classes through Jan. 14 for full-term traditional classes and January eight-week traditional and eLearning terms; and Jan. 17 for full-term eLearning classes, but a late registration fee of $15 will be assessed. Students can attend a session regardless of the location they plan to attend.
