ICC students to be inducted into Sigma Kappa Delta

Several Itawamba Community College students will be inducted into Sigma Kappa Delta during a ceremony at the W.O. Benjamin Fine Arts Center auditorium at 5 p.m., Apr. 28.

            They include Jaden Buchanan, Perashia Dunlap, Hannah McNeese, Rebekah Threadgill, all of Aberdeen; Karrigan Callihan, Pamela Dankins, Mattie Knox, Savannah Legaspi, all of Amory; Noah Locastro,  Chandler Wall, both of Fulton;  Carter Grubbs, Le-Ann Cummings, Carsen Enlow, all of Guntown;  Alexia Ware of Hamilton;  Kamryn Alexandra Wright of Houston; Jessica  George of Marietta; Grace Bauer, Caitlin McGivney, both of Mooreville; Madison Foster of New Albany; Chloe Evans of Plantersville; Lillian Angle, Lindzie  Hurd, Emma Phillips, all of  Pontotoc; Leah Pennington of Randolph; Carolyn Barrett, Lydia Covington Joseph Fulmer, Elizabeth Gregory, Kylee Steward, all of Saltillo; Noah Wells of Smithville; Lexus Black  of Tremont; Sara Baker, Noah Barnes, Laurel Jayes, Adam Kendrick, Julie Laney, Tiffany Pope, Claudia Zuniga, all of Tupelo and Charlotte Drane of Wesson.

            Sigma Kappa Delta is the English Honor Society for two-year colleges. Members have the opportunity to share their love of literature and linguistics with like-minded peers, participate in rewarding activities and be recognized for their accomplishments. They may also apply for one or more of the society’s numerous awards and scholarships. Sponsors are Keith Morris, Anna Britt-Begnaud, Dr. Ashley Lancaster and Nathan Ward.
