ICC to present "Charlotte's Web"

The Itawamba Community College Theatre Department will present the classic “Charlotte’s Web,” Mar. 31 and Apr. 1 at 4 p.m. and Apr. 2 at 2 p.m. at the Cypress Pavilion at the Fulton Campus.

            This rendition of “Charlotte’s Web” was adapted by award-winning playwright Joseph Robinette, who has written more than 50 plays and musicals including the Broadway musical version of “A Christmas Story. “

            Members of the cast and crew include Caroline Nestor of Amory; Cassidy Brophy, director Dr. Laurie McBride, both of Fulton; Angel Jones of New Albany; Kelsey Danley of Olive Branch; Morgan Miller of Red Bay, Ala.; Bradley Adams of Saltillo; Gavin Lane and Elana Dearing, both of Tupelo.

            One hour before showtime, there will be farm carnival events with prizes available. The games will include Feed the Pig, Spider Race, Corral the Sheep, Flickin Chicken, Farm Face Painting and Cheese the Rat.

            In case of inclement weather, optional shows will be Apr. 8 at 4 p.m. and Apr. 9 at 2 p.m.

            Admission, which includes preshow activities, is $5 for all students and all individuals with an ICC ID, and $7 for adults. Tickets are available for purchase at the entrance.
