General 0 Jan. 16 is the deadline for applying for the Adult Learner Incentive Scholarship for those enrolling for the 2018 spring semester at Itawamba Community College. The scholarship, which provides half-tuition for one semester, is designed to provide an incentive for new or returning students, age 23 or older, not enrolled in college for the previous two years to pursue a degree at ICC. Criteria for selection include Mississippi resident, enrollment in a minimum of six semester hours, meeting admission requirements and in good standing with ICC. The scholarship cannot be combined with other ICC institutional scholarships. Day and evening academic, career and technical, eLearning and workforce classes are available in Fulton, Tupelo and Belden. ICC will be closed Dec. 19-Jan. 1. Open registration is scheduled for Jan. 4 and 5 at both the Fulton and Tupelo campuses. In addition, individuals can register at a special Connect2ICC session, Jan. 6, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Student Support Center at the Tupelo Campus. Jan. 15 deadline for applying for ICC Adult Learner Incentive Scholarship Jan. 15 is the deadline for applying for the Adult Learner Incentive Scholarship for those enrolling for the 2023 spring semester at Itawamba Community College. To apply for the scholarship, students must be 21 years of age or older and enrolling in classes to pursue a degree. Full-time recipients, who are enrolled in a minimum of 15 hours, will receive $2,000 ($500 per semester), and part-time recipients, who are enrolled in a minimum of six hours, will receive $1,000 ($250 per semester). The Adult Learner scholarship must be used in consecutive semesters. Eligibility must begin the first semester of attendance and cannot be used more than once. It is for students who begin enrollment for the 2021 fall term. Day and evening, academic, career education, eLearning and workforce classes are available in Fulton, Tupelo and Belden.
