General 0 Itawamba Community College will celebrate Homecoming on Oct. 18 at the Fulton Campus beginning at 4 p.m. For the first time in ICC’s history, Homecoming will be on Thursday. The schedule includes Alumnus of the Year and Athletic Hall of Fame award ceremony, 4 p.m. tentatively set for the Davis Event Center lobby and Red, Hot & Blue Cookout, 5-6 p.m., Davis Event Center concourse. The 2018 honorees are Tommy Kline of Fulton, Alumnus of the Year; and Mike Nanney, Sr. of Fulton and Okolona native Ron Hill of Ponte Vedra, Fla, Athletic Hall of Fame. They will be honored during pregame ceremonies beginning at 6 p.m. at Eaton Field. Spring 2018 Open Registration Open registration at Itawamba Community College has been scheduled for the 2018 spring semester. Dates and times include Jan. 3 from 4-7 p.m. at the Tupelo Campus; Jan. 4 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Fulton Campus and from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Tupelo Campus; January 5 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at both the Fulton and Tupelo campuses, and Jan. 6 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Tupelo Campus. Locations are the Administration Building at the Fulton Campus and the Student Support Center at the Tupelo Campus. It is possible to register for spring semester classes through Jan. 12 for traditional full-term evening classes, traditional eight-week accelerated term; Jan. 17 for the eight-week eLearning term; Jan. 19 for full-term eLearning classes, but a late registration fee of $15 will be assessed. ICC releases fall 2024 continuing education schedule Itawamba Community College has announced its schedule of continuing education classes for the 2024 fall semester. The schedule, according to ICC Continuing Education director Josh Gammill, includes opportunities in several categories: hobbies and personal enjoyment, personal enrichment, professional continuing education, career pathways and senior college. Gammill said that the class schedule includes both new opportunities as well as those that have been offered before. “We have integrated new classes such as an introduction to single board microcomputers and microcontrollers that join old favorites in the areas of art, cake decorating, photography, ACT prep, sign language and personal finance. Professional continuing education is available for EMS refreshers and engineers and surveyors as well as an extensive schedule of career pathways, or short-term courses, to prepare students for the next step. Our senior college, which began during the spring semester, continues to offer an opportunity to enable retirees to stay active in the community and engage with other participants who share the same enthusiasm and zest for life and learning as they do.” The ... Options include Jan. 6 from 4-7 p.m., Jan. 7 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Jan. 8 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Academic and Student Center at the Tupelo Campus; and Jan. 7 and 8 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Advising office on the second floor of the David C.
