9 September Dinner & Demo series returns for fourth year September 9, 2026 By Camp, Tyler W Career Center, General 0 Itawamba Community College’s popular Dinner & Demo series will begin its fourth year with an evening at Jobos in downtown Tupelo, Sept. 17 at 5:30 p.m. The culinary demonstration will feature crab and corn hushpuppies with citrus and herb aioli and a Peach Bourbon Mash. Dinner will include crab and corn hushpuppies with citrus and herb aioli and apple celery slaw; barbecue shrimp and grits with homemade focaccia; and Memory Orchard cheesecake with fresh fruit compote. A Peach Bourbon Mash will accompany the meal. Eric Stogner will provide live music from 6-8 p.m. The cost is $60 per person or $110 per couple. Jobos is located at 314 E. Woody’s featured at ICC’s March Dinner & Demo on March 26 Itawamba Community College will host its next Dinner & Demo on March 26 at 5:30 p.m., featuring Woody’s as the highlighted restaurant for the month. The limited-seat culinary experience invites guests to enjoy an intimate evening of cooking demonstrations by the residence chef while also dining on a specially curated menu from the featured restaurant. Designed as a monthly food experience, Dinner & Demo offers a unique opportunity to see preparation techniques up close while savoring a full meal in a relaxed, engaging atmosphere. WalletHub ranks ICC best in the state for fourth consecutive year Itawamba Community College has again ranked first among all public two-year institutions in Mississippi in a recently-released WalletHub study that surveyed hundreds of community colleges across the United States. In order to determine the best community colleges in the United States, the financial institution WalletHub selected a sample of 650 schools from the list of member institutions in the American Association of Community Colleges. The schools were evaluated based on cost and financing and both education and career outcomes. ICC was also ranked first in 2018, 2019 and 2020. “For 70 plus years, providing affordable and accessible education has always been a significant component of Itawamba Community College’s mission,” said ICC President Dr. Jay Allen. “National recognition of the College in this area is an indication that ICC is fulfilling that mission and serving our students, who are our top priority.
