ICC to enroll new adult education students during two Sept. 11 sessions

Itawamba Community College will enroll new adult education students at the Belden Center during two sessions on Sept. 11.

The first, which is at 9 a.m., will be for individuals who are 18 and older; and the second, at 1 p.m., will include those who are 16-/17-years-old.

Participants must have a photo ID, and 16-/17-year-olds should be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring a withdrawal form from the most recent school attended.

Entry into the adult education area is across from the WIN Job Center at ICC-Belden.

Day and evening classes are offered at ICC-Belden as well as in Chickasaw, Itawamba, Lee, Monroe and Pontotoc counties.

There is no cost for the classes.

The ESL program, Belden Center evening courses and all WIN Job Centers offer open, continuous enrollment.

GED and HiSET testing is continuing on a weekly basis, and all program-enrolled students take the GED or HiSET free of charge. For more information on scheduling an appointment, contact Priscilla Trice at pbtrice@iccms.edu or call (662) 407-1513.
