General 0 Itawamba Community College will enroll new adult education students at the Belden Center with a three-day orientation session, Sept. 20, 21 and 22. Each session will begin at 8:30 a.m. Participants must have a photo ID, and 16-/17-year-olds should be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring a withdrawal form from the most recent school attended. Upon arrival at the ICC Belden Center (3200 Adams Farm Rd.), students will enter the second parking lot (located closest to Averitt Service Center), Once inside, the Adult Education area is directly across from the WIN Job Center. The class schedule includes Amory – Amory WIN Center (1619 Hwy. 25 North), Tuesday and Thursday, 8a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.; Belden – ICC Belden Center (3200 Adams Farm Rd.), Monday and Tuesday, 8a.m.-8:30 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday, 8 a.m.-4:30p.m.; and ESL, Monday and Tuesday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.; Fulton – Old Grammar School (603 So. Cummings St.), Tuesday and Thursday, 4-8 p.m.; Houston – Houston WIN Center (210 So. ICC schedules orientation sessions for students who plan to enroll for the 2021 spring semester Itawamba Community College has scheduled orientation sessions for students who plan to enroll for the 2021 spring semester. Recent high school graduates are required to participate in one of the sessions, which are scheduled for Nov. 18, Dec. 10 and Jan. 6, 7 and 8, by registering at iccms.edu/orientation. Options include the Fulton and Tupelo campuses, and students can attend a session regardless of the location they plan to attend in the spring. However, all students, including adult learners, are invited. “Among the advantages of attending an orientation session are scheduling classes early and choosing from a wide variety of options, including days, times and instructors and possibly completing the process before graduation from high school,” said Dr. Melissa Haab, dean of enrollment services. “The sessions will also provide an opportunity for adult learners to connect with an adviser and to make the transition to college less intimidating.” During the spring semester, students may choose from five instructional delivery methods, including face-to-face, face-to-face/online hybrid, face-to-face/ZOOM hybrid, ZOOM only and online.
