ICC schedules adult education orientation sessions at Belden, Pontotoc

Itawamba Community College will enroll new adult education students at orientations at the Belden Center, Sept. 30, and the Pontotoc WIN Center, Oct. 1.

The sessions at the Belden Center (3200 Adams Farm Rd.) will include day classes – individuals 18+ years of age, 9 a.m. and those 16-17 years old, 1 p.m.; and evening classes – all ages, 4:30 p.m.

Individuals over the age of 16 are invited to register at Pontotoc beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Participants must have a photo ID, and 16-/17-year-olds should be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring a withdrawal form from the most recent school attended.

Belden Center classes include Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Entry into the adult education area is across from the WIN Job Center at ICC-Belden.

Pontotoc classes are currently taught at the Pontotoc WIN Center (316 Coffee Street), Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m.

            There is no cost for the classes.

            GED and HiSET testing is continuing on a weekly basis, and all program-enrolled students take the GED or HiSET free of charge. For more information on scheduling an appointment, contact Priscilla Trice at pbtrice@iccms.edu or call (662) 407-1513.
