Dates and times include Aug. 8 from 4:30-7 p.m., Aug. 9 from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. and Aug. 10 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Student Support Center at the Tupelo Campus; and Aug. 9-10 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Administration Building at the Fulton Campus. It is possible to register for fall semester classes through Aug. 17 for traditional classes and the August eight-week traditional accelerated term; Aug. 21 for the August eight-week eLearning accelerated term and Aug. 24 for full-term eLearning classes, but a late registration fee of $15 will be assessed. However, class selection could possibly be limited. Traditional day classes begin Aug. 13, and eLearning classes, Aug. 20. Academic, career and technical, eLearning (online) and workforce opportunities are available in an extensive schedule, which includes both day and evening classes at Fulton, Tupelo and Belden. ICC schedules Sept. 26 Fall Preview Day for area high school seniors High school seniors will have an opportunity to learn about Itawamba Community College during its Fall Preview Day, which is scheduled for September 26 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. at the W.O. Benjamin Fine Arts Center at the Fulton Campus. Fall Preview Day attendees will also have free admission for the ICC/Mississippi Delta football game at Eaton Field, beginning with a tailgate at 5 p.m. They can select from up to two information sessions about ICC’s schools of academics, career education and health science, and participants will hear directly from faculty within the areas. They can choose which schools to attend based on a selected major through the registration link. Attendees will also receive information on involvement at ICC, financial aid/scholarships, housing and residence life, Phi Theta Kappa and honors. There will also be a question-and-answer session. Student recruiters will lead the campus and residence hall tours during this event. ICC schedules orientation sessions for students who plan to enroll in summer, fall Itawamba Community College has scheduled orientation sessions for students who plan to enroll for the 2022 summer and fall semesters. Recent high school graduates are required to participate in one of the sessions, which are scheduled for Apr. 11 (Honors), June 7, June 8, June 9, July 19 at 1 p.m.; Apr. 22 and 29, May 6 and July 21, all at 8:30 a.m., at the Fulton Campus; and Apr. 13, June 21 at 1 p.m. and June 23 and July 21 at 5 p.m. at the Tupelo Campus. Students can attend a session regardless of the location they plan to attend. However, all students, including adult learners, are invited. “Among the advantages of attending an orientation session are scheduling classes early and choosing from a wide variety of options, including days, times and instructors and possibly completing the process before graduation from high school,” said Jake Hartfield, director of recruitment and orientation. “Participants will have an opportunity to connect with other new students as well as to learn more about student life at ICC.
