• ICC schedules Junior Preview Day, Oct. 25

              Area high school juniors and their parents are invited to participate in a special event at the Itawamba Community College Fulton Campus, Oct. 25.             Junior Preview Day, which will begin with registration at the Davis Event Center from 3-3:30 p.m., is designed for current high school juniors and their parents or guardians to receive valuable information to assist in the decision-making process of after high school choices.             Highlights of the event will include meetings with areas of interest, tour of the campus and residence halls, free dinner and the ICC vs. Northwest football game.             Areas to be showcased are financial aid, scholarships, admissions, Honors program, academic programs, health professions, career and technical education programs and housing.             Registration is available at http://www.iccms.edu/JuniorPreview.             For more information, contact Marty Cooper, director of recruiting, at pmcooper@iccms.edu or (662) 862-8252.
• ICC schedules Sept. 26 Fall Preview Day for area high school seniors

  High school seniors will have an opportunity to learn about Itawamba Community College during its Fall Preview Day, which is scheduled for September 26 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. at the W.O. Benjamin Fine Arts Center at the Fulton Campus.                 Fall Preview Day attendees will also have free admission for the ICC/Mississippi Delta football game at Eaton Field, beginning with a tailgate at 5 p.m.                 They can select from up to two information sessions about ICC’s schools of academics, career education and health science, and participants will hear directly from faculty within the areas. They can choose which schools to attend based on a selected major through the registration link. Attendees will also receive information on involvement at ICC, financial aid/scholarships, housing and residence life, Phi Theta Kappa and honors. There will also be a question-and-answer session. • ICC schedules Spring Preview Day, Mar. 25

              High school juniors will have an opportunity to learn about student life at Itawamba Community College during Spring Preview Day, Mar. 25, from 9 a.m.-noon at the Davis Event Center on the Fulton Campus.             The schedule includes arrival and check-in, 8:15-8:50 a.m.; welcome, 9 a.m.; preview expo, 9:15 a.m.; and optional lunch at the dining hall, noon. A campus tour is optional.             The Spring Preview Day will include information about ICC’s academic, health science and career education programs, and participants can interact directly with faculty within the areas. The preview expo will enable prospective students to visit with programs, offices, departments and student organizations to learn more about academic and student involvement opportunities.             According to Jake Hartfield, director of recruitment and orientation, Spring Preview Day is designed specifically for high school juniors to learn about all aspects of student life; however, high school seniors who have not visited ICC before may attend. • ICC schedules Fall Preview Days for high school seniors

  High school seniors will have an opportunity to learn about student life at Itawamba Community College through Fall Preview Days, which have been scheduled for both the Fulton and Tupelo campuses.             Dates include Oct. 21, Nov. 4 and 12 at the Fulton Campus, and Oct. 22 at the Tupelo Campus.             Morning sessions begin with check in at 8 a.m. and close by 12:15 p.m. with optional campus and housing tours from 1-2:30 p.m. Afternoon sessions will begin with check in at 1 p.m. and close by 5:30 p.m. with housing and campus tours from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.             The opportunity will include information about ICC’s academic, health science and career education programs, and participants will hear directly from faculty within the areas. In addition, a student/faculty panel will discuss how to balance academic and involvement at ICC, and breakout sessions will enable participants to explore different areas of the college, including financial aid, Phi Theta Kappa, student involvement and more. • ICC schedules fall adult education classes and orientation session

  Itawamba Community College will enroll new adult education students at the Belden Center with a three-day orientation session, Aug.23, 24 and 25.             Each session will begin at 8:30 a.m. Participants must have a photo ID, and 16-/17-year-olds should be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring a withdrawal form from the most recent school attended.
