General 0 High school seniors will have an opportunity to learn about Itawamba Community College during its Fall Preview Day, which is scheduled for October 23 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. at the W.O. Benjamin Fine Arts Center at the Fulton Campus. Fall Preview Day attendees will also have free admission for the ICC/Northeast football game at Eaton Field, beginning with a tailgate at 5 p.m. They can select from up to two information sessions about ICC’s schools of academics, career education and health science, and participants will hear directly from faculty within the areas. They can choose which schools to attend based on a selected major through the registration link. Attendees will also receive information on involvement at ICC, financial aid/scholarships, housing and residence life, Phi Theta Kappa and honors. There will also be a question-and-answer session. Student recruiters will lead the campus and residence hall tours during this event. Although attendance at the football game is optional, two Fall Preview Day attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the Dr. Pepper Tuition Toss at halftime. The names of two contestants will be drawn at the free tailgate to have a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Dr. Pepper and the Itawamba Community College Foundation, Inc. Preregistration, which begins Sept. 23, atwww.iccms.edu/PreviewDays is required, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Morning sessions begin with check in at 8 a.m. and close by 12:15 p.m. with optional campus and housing tours from 1-2:30 p.m. Afternoon sessions will begin with check in at 1 p.m. and close by 5:30 p.m. with housing and campus tours from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The opportunity will include information about ICC’s academic, health science and career education programs, and participants will hear directly from faculty within the areas. In addition, a student/faculty panel will discuss how to balance academic and involvement at ICC, and breakout sessions will enable participants to explore different areas of the college, including financial aid, Phi Theta Kappa, student involvement and more. ICC schedules Spring Preview Day, Mar. 25 High school juniors will have an opportunity to learn about student life at Itawamba Community College during Spring Preview Day, Mar. 25, from 9 a.m.-noon at the Davis Event Center on the Fulton Campus. The schedule includes arrival and check-in, 8:15-8:50 a.m.; welcome, 9 a.m.; preview expo, 9:15 a.m.; and optional lunch at the dining hall, noon. A campus tour is optional. The Spring Preview Day will include information about ICC’s academic, health science and career education programs, and participants can interact directly with faculty within the areas. The preview expo will enable prospective students to visit with programs, offices, departments and student organizations to learn more about academic and student involvement opportunities. ICC schedules 2021 fall semester open registration Itawamba Community College has scheduled open registration for the 2021 fall semester. Options include Aug. 11 from 4-7 p.m., Aug. 12 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Aug. 13 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Student Support Center at the Tupelo Campus; and Aug. 12 and 13 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the David C. Cole Student Services Building on the Fulton Campus. The Tupelo Campus location also will be open until 6 p.m. from Aug. 16-19 for late registration. Traditional full-term day and first eight-week classes begin Aug. 16; and eLearning full-term and first eight-week classes, Aug. 23. Financial aid may be available, as well as adult learner scholarships. Academic, career education, eLearning (online) and workforce opportunities are available in an extensive schedule, which includes both day and evening classes at Fulton, Tupelo and Belden.
