ICC's Diagnostic Medical Sonography class of 2025 receives diplomas during special ceremony

The members of Itawamba Community College’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography class of 2025 received their diplomas during a special ceremony, July 30 at the Academic and Student Center at the Tupelo Campus.
                They include Emily Lopez of Belden; Stephanie Watts of Brandon; Karly Linley of Houlka; Hadley Jackson of Kossuth; Madison Gregg of Maben; Sarah Perkins of Oxford; Zoe Nastasi of Picayune and Annslee Rhea of Pontotoc.

                Itawamba Community College’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography is a one-year (three-semester) program. Graduates receive an Associate of Applied Science degree and are to take the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography examinations, including Principles and Instrumentation to become a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Abdominal and Obstetrics/Gynecology. Sonographers work in hospitals, clinics, physician’s offices, women’s health centers and pediatric care centers.
