ICC schedules April adult education orientations

Itawamba Community College will enroll new adult education students in morning/afternoon and evening classes at the Belden Center (3200 Adams Farm Rd.) and in Amory (1619 Highland Drive) at upcoming orientations.

Registration for Belden morning and afternoon classes will be at 9 a.m., April 13, for individuals 18 years of age and older.

Registration for Belden evening classes will be at 4:30 p.m. on April 13, for individuals 18 years of age and older.  Individuals who are 16-17 years old cannot enroll in evening classes at the Belden Center unless they bring documentation from an employer indicating a schedule that conflicts with day classes.

Registration for Belden afternoon classes for individuals 16-17 years of age will be at 9:00 a.m., April 14, at the ICC Belden Center. A legal guardian must accompany anyone 16-17 years of age and also provide a school withdrawal form from the last school attended.

Registration for Amory morning classes (all ages) will be at 9:00 a.m. and evening classes (all ages) will be at 4:30 p.m., April 21, at the Monroe County Government Complex. 

There is no cost for the classes. All interested individuals must bring a state-issued picture ID and a social security card to enroll.

GED® and HiSET® testing is continuing on a weekly basis, and all program-enrolled students take the GED® or HiSET® free of charge. For more information about testing, contact Priscilla Trice at pbtrice@iccms.edu or call (662) 407-1511.
