General 0 Itawamba Community College will host a free Red Zone Tailgate, Sept. 7, prior to the Indians’ home-opener football game with Jones College. The schedule includes 4 p.m., Indian Spirit Walk (cheer the football team on their way to Lambert Stadium); 5 p.m., cookout sponsored by ICC’s Alumni and Foundation with Kids’ Zone activities; 6:30 p.m., pregame Freshman Run; and 7 p.m., kickoff at Eaton Field. ICC schedules Sept. 26 Fall Preview Day for area high school seniors High school seniors will have an opportunity to learn about Itawamba Community College during its Fall Preview Day, which is scheduled for September 26 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. at the W.O. Benjamin Fine Arts Center at the Fulton Campus. Fall Preview Day attendees will also have free admission for the ICC/Mississippi Delta football game at Eaton Field, beginning with a tailgate at 5 p.m. They can select from up to two information sessions about ICC’s schools of academics, career education and health science, and participants will hear directly from faculty within the areas. They can choose which schools to attend based on a selected major through the registration link. Attendees will also receive information on involvement at ICC, financial aid/scholarships, housing and residence life, Phi Theta Kappa and honors. There will also be a question-and-answer session. Student recruiters will lead the campus and residence hall tours during this event. Each session will begin at 8:30 a.m. Participants must have a photo ID, and 16-/17-year-olds should be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring a withdrawal form from the most recent school attended.
