ICC small ensembles schedule Apr. 25 concert

            Itawamba Community College will present a small ensemble concert at 6:30 p.m., Apr. 25, at the W.O. Benjamin Fine Arts Center auditorium on the Fulton Campus.

            The concert will feature the clarinet quartet, Rush Hour saxophone quartet, brass ensemble, trombone quartet and the steel band.

            Members of the clarinet quartet are Ryann Smith of Hernando; Erica Carrisoza of Nettleton; Ciera Hansen of Tupelo; and director Christy Colburn of Amory.

            The Rush Hour saxophone quartet in addition to director Colburn includes Dillan Gibson of Pontotoc; Eli Buse of Saltillo and Reed Goodson of Tupelo.

            Members of the brass ensemble, which is directed by Eric Simmons of Saltillo, are Staci Fox, Max Smaglick, both of Amory; Corey Spellins of Blue Springs; John Buchman of Caledonia; Wayne Clunan of Carrollton; Avery Head of Haleyville, Ala.; Zack Hedleston of Hernando; Anna Bailey, Alex Barron, both of Pontotoc; Christian Gann of Randolph; and Rain Burt of Tupelo.

            The trombone quartet includes in addition to director Eric Simmons, John Buchman of Caledonia; Avery Head of Haleyville, Ala. and Max Smaglick of Amory.

            Steel band participants are Jeremiah Wallace of Amory; Chloe Hatfield of Corinth; Dawson Young of Mantachie; Kody Hunter of Oxford; director Brian Cheesman of Saltillo; DJ Smith of Shannon; Kenneth Polk of Southaven; Alexis Baskins and Kayla Smith, both of Tupelo.

            The concert is open to the public. Admission is free.
