Adult Learner Incentive Scholarship Aug. 13 is the deadline for applying for the Adult Learner Incentive Scholarship for those enrolling for the 2018 fall semester at Itawamba Community College. The scholarship, which provides half-tuition for one semester, is designed to provide an incentive for new or returning students, age 23 or older, not enrolled in college for the previous two years to pursue a degree at ICC. Criteria for selection include Mississippi resident, enrollment in a minimum of six semester hours, meeting admission requirements and in good standing with ICC. The scholarship cannot be combined with other ICC institutional scholarships. Day and evening, academic, career and technical, eLearning and workforce classes are available in Fulton, Tupelo and Belden. Culinary Camp for Kids Registration is underway at the Itawamba Community College Belden Center for a Culinary Camp for Kids, which is scheduled for July 10-13. Students who will be in grades 4, 5 and 6 in the fall can participate in the camp, which will meet from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Highlights include proper kitchen hygiene and safety, healthy kid-friendly recipes as well as team-building, organizational and etiquette skills. ICC sets second summer term registration Open registration for day classes for the second summer term at Itawamba Community College is scheduled for June 29 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on both the Fulton and Tupelo campuses. Locations are the Registrar’s/Admissions office on the Fulton Campus and the Student Services Building on the Tupelo Campus. The deadline for late registration is July 5, but classes begin on July 2. In addition, the eLearning second four-week term begins on June 25, which is the last day to add classes.
